SC - "cabelho" fish recipe?

This "cabelho" sounds interesting. Do you have the recipe? Have you
made this?

Who found a wonderful snack at his HEB Central Market store. Smoked,
salted fish. Wonderful just to munch on. I don't know if it was smoked
or salted enough to last without refrigeration.
