In one of the Little House on the Prairie books, Pa Ingalls shot a swan by
mistake, and they were all pretty sad, and even more bummed when they found
out they couldn't eat it because it tasted horribly fishy.

Anyone know whether that's a diet thing or just something you can overlook
if you're hungry?
