SC - snails-edible

I live in Florida...which parts of Florida would have seen the African Snails
introduced?  If they are around here we will try to help with the
eradication....and at the same time put my abundant supply of garlic to good
use!  Omigod!  Snails and red sauce over pasta!!  My husband's birthday is coming
up and will he be surprised!  We don't have any deli's...Italian, Jewish,
none...none.  So snails alive, alive oh would be so good.
