SC - Polish spice question

Francesco,

Have you also researched herbs grown in the area that
the Tatars inhabited?  Perhaps by the process of
elimination of what was grown in their region and what
was used in Europe, you might be able to figure out
what someone might have called "Tatar herb".  Just
a thought anyway.
