One of the recipese that Chiquart suggests for the sick is Applesauce --
this was always a favorite food in my house, warm is excellent,
sweetened or unsweetened.  Chiquart mixes in almond milk, and mixed with
a little milk or cream (especially when hot, is also excellent)
