This topic has been raging on the Tavern Yard, and has relevance here as
well, so I am forwarding it on again. As I suspected, it isn't as bad as
people thought it was.

Subject: [TY] B&V - The Resolution

Cathal to All, Greetings:

In light of the matters recently discussed regarding the possible
institution of "Prohibition" or its ilk in the SCA, the following letter
lately posted to the Grand Council List may prove of some interest.
Please note that this is not an OFFICIAL communication from the SCA, Inc.
However it does come from reliable sources and should be viewed as the
PROBABLE herald of things to come.

The essence of the SCA policy has not changed. Per +Corpora+ the
matter of mundane law of any jurisdiction has remained paramount over SCA
internal governance. The tempest had simply transferred from the teapot
to the beer-stein.

Salvete,

Cathal.

our information has matched up well enough that the policy announced
after the Kingdom Seneschals and Exchequers Symposium is being revised.
