SC - wafer help

Lord Davor and his lady have mentioned to one of the Estrella autocrats that 
they believe I would teach a cooking class to older children, pre-pubescent 
to young teens.  Sooooooo, I'm gonna gather up my courage and do it.
I want to start with something simple, yet fun.  Don't want to scare them off 
with anything too ambitious, so I am leaning toward finger foods.  
Any suggestions or comments are welcome, and all the support you guys can 
muster.  Young people frighten me.
