SC - food for ill kids

My hubby makes a version of this, called dirty rice.  He adds not only eggs
and cheese to the rice, but crumbled sausage, sauteed onions and bell
peppers as well.  We usually feast on this concoction for a quick breakfast.

A few years ago my dog got hit by a car. When we got him home we had to get
food into him, but it had to be both appetizing as well as nourishing, and
he was not interested iin conventional pet food offerings.  So we made him
scrambled eggs and rice and cheese, all mixed up.  These are all good
sources of proteins, carbs, fats, etc., and are very digestible.  It smelled
so good that I had to try it, and my husband and I got hooked on it, only
adding salt and pepper to it for ourselves.  Now whenever one of us is
feeling off for whatever reason, this is one of the few things we'll go for.
