SC - ulp! I've been volunteered

Actually - back to the jumbles , I tried them out first from a vague memory
at a medieval castle, with only an open fire. I got through the boiling
stage, forgot to bake them, and just fried them on a griddle to brown a
little, then dredged them in sugar and cinnamon. Not period - but
interesting, and based on my poor recollection of the original.
