Not to mention those who wish to avoid cooties and other yucky stuff,
and the possibility of turning into human insects like David Hedison and
Jeff Goldblum. For 99.9999999999% of the people objecting to the use of
the product the issue is probably about eating bugs, plain and simple.
My opinion, not presented as fact. I also believe xenophobia disguised
as medical responsibility is cowardly and reprehensible.
The source of a refined chemical compound doesn't necessarily reflect
its nature. If it did, by rights cooks would refuse to cook with any of
a variety of fossil fuels, derived as they are from rotting waste matter
and, in some cases, sewage.
And it is my further belief that Carthage must be destroyed...; )
