Srawberries are in season. If you can get your hands on 'Alpines' they are the
closest you will get to 'period'. If not. any is as good as any other. Rhubarb
is also in season then, keeping in mind that it was used mostly as a medicinal
until VERY late period.

Grapes, however, are decidedly NOT in season. They ripen in the end of August
into October, depending on the variety. 

Asparagus is in season, yes. Spinach, radishes, peas, dandelion, mustard
greens, turnip greens, beet greens, and fava beans would be in season. As well
as, elder buds, lamb's quarters, green onions and green garlic among other
things.
