SC - recipes with beer in them

Thanks to all who responded with beer recipes.  I can see an upcoming meal --
Beer Fest Feast.  I have another question.  Several of these recipes use
self-rising flour, something I never buy.  IIRC, I can substitute 1 cup flour, 2
teaspoons baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt for each cup of self-rising flour.
Can anyone confirm this for me?  Thanks again.
