My sister is currently living in Korea, and engaged to a Korean young 
man.  When he flew over to meet my family, he was actually stunned 
that we had two large dogs as HOUSEPETS (retriever sized mutts).  He 
said that he could understand keeping something like a toy poodle (or 
that size) as a pet, but not something with this much MEAT on it.  My 
youngest sister almost freaked! (not very adventurous about food)
