Actually, I remember a discussion on this list a while back about tea
boiled
eggs that come out marbled. Does anyone still have that info? Did we
decide the best way/tea/etc ?

Another really neat way to color eggs is to chop a couple large Red
Spanish onions (the dry outside skins and the flesh within) in half and
peel them. Boil them together with the eggs. When the eggs are done,
pour but reserve the water and leave the eggs and onions to gether in
the pot off the heat. Let the whole morass cool.
(In truth, I can't remember why you reserve the water... I'll have to
ask my in-laws...they're menonites and they're who know how this is
done...)
