I'm not sure what you are looking for. The spices are the spices. If you are
looking for some descriptions of the spices or what they were used for, you
might check this file in the PLANTS, HERBS AND SPICES section of my Florilegium,
but would back those claims up by doing some research on the spices perhaps
in some of the sources mentioned in this file.

I'm not sure. But there are a number of mail order spice merchants mentioned
in the file mentioned above. Often they now have WWW pages and those too are
mentioned in the above file if I've seen message mentioning them.
