	I also got very few responses to my query to the list, Is that
because no one takes things to potlucks? Or at least nothing period?  Just
wondering...

I personally regard our shire potluck as a chance for capturing guinea pigs.
I usually try a new receipe for the potlucks.  Plus, our shire tends to camp
together, and we usually have potluck on Sat nights of event.  I try and
bring at least peri-oid food for that.  However, the best guinea pig hunting
is to be had at fighter practice.  Fighters will eat almost anything.
