Considering how little most people know about chemistry, it's a bit more
like telling toddlers "Never go out at night." I believe the answer to your
question is probably, "Absolutely everything, until you know exactly what to
mix with it, and how." For some substances, the list of known dangerous uses
is so much longer than the list of safe and practical uses that you might as
well go for the latter list and stick to it religiously.
