There is a plant which bears round fruits that look like peppers around
Christmas time. This plant is NOT a capsicum and is very poisonous. I think
sometimes they are called 'Christmas peppers or Jerusalem Cherries. Be very
careful that what you buy is a capsicum. Other types of nightshades can
easily kill small children and pets.
OTOH, many smaller or extraordinarily hot peppers are often labeled for
ornamental purposes including some Thai peppers and 'Bird' peppers. They are
very hot but not inedible.
