I was expecting the reason for not reprinting it to be something like this.

Would you do me the favor of finding out what each of these pamplets
covers, their current costs etc and putting it into a message either to
this group or to me by email? I would like to add this information to
my cookbooks-SCA-msg file so that others can find out about these 
publications and take advantage of them. An introduction explaining
what the Madrone cooking group is and what it's goals are would also be
nice.
