Special Needs and Allergies at Feasts (was: Re: SC - Good Broth)

I really appreciate how sensitive some people are to minute amounts of the 
something they are allergic to (I have environmental allergies myself).  So, 
at the recent WoW event, because we were made aware that one of the gentles 
at the feast had an almond allergy, I made it my job to make sure that the 
all cooking utensils, knives, bowls, etc., used for the almonds were not also 
being used for the non-almond dishes - without thorough washing first. To 
facilitate this, all the almond "stuff" being used was kept separate on a 
small cart near the counter.  I also told the others in the kitchen what I 
was doing.
