Hmmm. Well at least the air-filled leather palette is period. Late-period,
but period.
For those who think I'm kidding, take a look at this file in the
HOME-SWEET-HOME section of my Florilegium:
beds-msg (119K) 10/15/99 Medieval and SCA beds. rope and slat beds.
So yes, the air mattress is period! Although it was unlikely to be common.
