SC - winter thoughts

Additional winter thoughts - 'tis the time of year, what does everybody have

I tasted my 1994 dandelion wine batch last week. It has finally cleared and 
is a wonderful deep golden color. I do need to re-rack to get rid of the 
dregs that have finally settled out. It is a VERY sweet wine and tastes more 
strongly of the raisins used than I would like. I need to dig out my 
documentation, but I think I used mostly a recipe from Digby. With only 3 
bottles left, I will have to think hard about entering this in Northern 
Lights A&S, especially since I'll be running the kitchen again and won't be 
able to go off-site if the potables are judged that way again this year.
