A few pieces of good quality bakeware to round out my collection.
Maybe a few small toys, like an egg separator or a cookbook
holder/protector or a pastry wheel. A pretty crock for my new
sourdough starter.

Realistically hoping for... see above. Wildest dreams? My dreams
have been pretty modest lately. I don't use all the toys I have now.
Maybe that really really expensive dictionary of medieval Spanish. A
gas stove. A convection oven. A supercharged metabolism that will let
me eat all the stuff I want to cook. :-)

I went hogwild with period cookbooks at Pennsic, so I'm well-supplied
there. Maybe Maggie Black's "Medieval Cookbook". There are several
modern cookbooks/food books that are on my wish list. Things like
McGee's "On Food and Cooking", that explain the what and why of
cooking. I find it's very helpful in redacting to understand the purpose of
each ingredient and procedure. Various baking cookbooks, and maybe
some foreign/ethnic ones from cuisines I don't have.
