So what's French short bread like?


Well while it is not period, I find that French shortbread is more
like butter held together with a little flour and icing sugar. The
Scottish version is much less rich and much drier (read: more
crumbly). French Shortbread melts in your mouth and you'll get a tummy
ache if you eat too much. Which is very very hard not to do.
