SC - French toast?

Ok, you've convinced me, I'm doing Pan Perdu for Breakfast on Sunday
morning at our Baronial Investiture.  I was waffling over the menu (no
pun intended), and this discussion has pushed me over the edge. It is the
perfect solution to my what-to-make-at-the-last-minute- dilema.
