The production of alcohols not conducive to a good brew by unwanted wild 
yeasts is an entirely different thing than human pathogens living through the 
brewing process, IMO. Perhaps a quick glance in the dictionary to retrieve 
the meaning of pathogen would be helpful. From Miriam-Webster- a specific 
causative agent (as a bacterium or virus) of disease. Poisoning and disease 
are two different things, IMO.
