Another example would be the infamous three-pronged widget, which
started out life as an interesting optical illusion drawing and is now
commonly used as a generic term similar to "thingies" in the fields of
both engineering and economics.

Then, of course, there are bugs, with which the computer world was
dealing with yet another, today.
