It would depend on whether your Latin training was classical or church
(medieval).  I (being a classical Latin snob ;) would pronounce it "ah
PEEK ee us".  However, in the medieval period it would probably have
been pronounced more like "ah PEESH ee us" or "ah PEESH yus".
