I'd think not, as many a young noble, at least in the folk tales I've read,
went out and faced a Boar to prove his bravery as they are more dangerous to
hunt than deer (they charge you, a deer runs away). The lad then dragged
said dead boar or his half dead self home. Sometimes, obviously, they didn't
come home at all, but I liie ot think that they wouldn't be sent out there
unless they had a fighting chance to kill the dang thing.
