Premise: "Life/Pennsic is pointless without the points."
So, who's going to explain how the point system works here on the list?
If I understand this theory:
1 point for posting anything, even OT and chat.
2 points for recipes, even without docs.
3 points for posting the docs, even without the recipes, or asking for
the docs when not supplied.
4 points for pointing out discrepancies in the docs, especially when a
non period item appears in an apparently period recipe.
Everybody scores their own, so the 'points vehrmacht' can award
5 points to themselves for pointing out failures to post only period
recipes with docs, particularly in original language with personal
translations. Otherwise, it would be POINTLESS to talk to one another
here. Or maybe, some of us actually just do this - or that, archery for
instance, or Pennsic Battles - because of something other than the
points involved. What could it be?
(Fine, I'm an archer: push my buttons. I've had a private engagement
with that demmed advancing man for years. When I kill all six of them,
and twice at the twenty, Then I'll be the master.
Maybe we need to fight more wars for the cheese, a nice big wheel of
cheddar perhaps... :^)
