SC - Orange Flower Water

To the question of usability of elderly orange-flower water, it is probably
still OK (I haven't heard of it going "bad"), but it will probably have lost
some of its flavour, or changed. Note that the label says "Best before . .
.", not "Do not use after . . .". If you want fresh orange flower water,
though, we sell orange-flower water concentrate. One 25 ml bottle makes a
liter [roughly a quart] of orange-flower water (or just use a drop or two of
concentrate where the recipe calls for a teaspoon).

Does anyone know what the usable shelf-life of this stuff is? I bought a
bottle at Williamsburg a number of years back, thinking it might come in
handy for baking. I put it in the cupboard and never opened it. The label
says "best if used by October 1996" and the contents are a little
cloudy, whereas I think they were clear at time of purchase.

Anyone know if this stuff will still be usable? Safe? Or should I just
grit
my teeth, pour it down the sink, and try to find a replacement? (.
