Of course, there are the several subspecies, each with their own
distinctions. The Town Cryer, easily found in the wee hours of the
morning yelling it's mating/and or territorial call in a seemingly
random noise pattern (all attempts to decypher or understand any
patterns, such as with whale song, as failed), but all end with the
recognizable call which sounds like "Eee-mee-dee-at-lee!). However,
these tend to be elusive, as all those lacking the proper genes for
camoflogue and stealth were hunted out of existence by hung-over
Norsemen and Celts years ago. They are mostly heard, but seldom seen
these days.

Submissions heralds abound more. Infact, it seems you can't swing a
shield or fly a banner with out hitting one. While being far more easier
to bait and catch (actually, getting rid of them is far more
difficult--kind of like zucchini [see, food content]), they are,
however, very tough and almost inedible without a severe pounding and
tenderizing process. You may have to stew them upwards of six months
before getting any reponse, and even then, you may get nothing but a
scum of rejection letters floating on the top. Chopping is near
impossible, as their skins have developed an outer scale layer of a
substance quite like red tape, and it proves difficult to cut.

The only problem is that such book heralds tend to be very strong indeed
from hauling around cases of very large books. Large as it is, the O&A
combined is insufficient to stop a herald. If it was, such a person
would never have made it as a herald....and the submission form only
attracts the book heralds.

I don't know. YOu might have to file an EIS before torching a herald.
There may be toxic gasses given of during incineration, and harmful
by-products of combustion. Some of them are volatile and gasseous enough
as it is, let alone on fire.
