SC - Orange Flower Water

Does anyone know what the usable shelf-life of this stuff is? I bought a
bottle at Williamsburg a number of years back, thinking it might come in
handy for baking. I put it in the cupboard and never opened it. The label
says "best if used by October 1996" and the contents are a little
cloudy, whereas I think they were clear at time of purchase.

Anyone know if this stuff will still be usable? Safe? Or should I just grit
my teeth, pour it down the sink, and try to find a replacement? (Anyone
know if Williams-Sonoma carries orange flower water? They seem to be
my best bet around here, without travelling into New York City.) I want
to redact a biscotti recipe, and the orange-flower-water version seems to
be my best bet, as my guinea p-- errrr, husband does not like anise.
