SC - Period Dining Atmosphere (Was RE: Saffron)

I usually judge by the amount of people who come into the kitchen asking
for recipes.  I find it difficlt to gage a feast's success by what comes
back to the kitchen and how much.  Sometimes food goes directly into the
trash.
