As someone who participated in a food fight and (horrors) what I used 
disintegrated into a yellow stain (I used a cookie) onto the target's Brand 
New Linen shirt (it had saffron in it).......I will never participate in one 
again. 

Besides, food is too good to throw (unless it's awful: and then I probably 
wouldn't have stayed for the feast then).

I am sure we could find other pastimes to indulge in at the feast table: 
conversation and flirting work for me!
