I shouldn't think apologies are necessary Balthazar.  It was perfectly clear
to me that the recipes were being posted not as documentable medieval
cuisine but rather as a tasty way to prepare asparagus.  Although the
thought of letting asparagus get anywhere near water is abhorent to me, I
would like to thank you for the different herb combination.  Next time I
roast some asparagus I will most certainly try it.

I'm sorry...I was not aware that this was a period recipe she was referring 
to.  No, I have no documentation for use of these herbs on asparagus.  This 
was just my personal suggestion.  Sorry for the confusion.
