SC - How do you know a dish was well liked or hated?

Another good test is how quiet the hall gets as soon as a dish or course is
served! Actually, I usually use the opinions of those who ate the feast, who I
know will tell me the straight story. I find that that's usually the best
test. Though it was awfully good to hear from a friend that she had tried a
dish from a feast I cooked, despite the fact that she hated one of the main
ingredients, just because I had said it was good...and that she really did like
it!
