SC - feast disasters and recovery

After re-reading this, it sounds kind of, stiff, but it was meant that Black 
Diamond isn't quite the backwater it once was. A lot of period cooking takes 
place there now...sorry it didn't come across that way.

A not quite disaster I recall from my days there took place at an event 
called Ice Castle X.  Eel soup was served to the populace and Peacock in its 
feathers to the high table with a lukewarm reception... I found them both 
tasty...
