SC - Special greetings to Nykademus

Greetings  Nykademus from Lady Phillipa Seton,
Welcome to the list!! We are usually a merry little tribe!   I'm sorry if I 
sounded so negative.  Maybe that is because I would NEVER sit in the front 
row of a  Gallagher concert.

First let me address posting to the list.  I invite you to do so as often as 
you wish.  Please feel free to jump in with both feet!  Your opinions are 
just as vaid as the next persons!!!  Don't let my (or others) lack of 
enthusiasm stop you from posting your ideas to the list.  There is room for 
everyone here!!  Personally though I would head for the door the moment the 
first bit of food was launched.  But that is just me.
When I go to a feast I am expecting / hoping for  good food, good company, 
dancing, music, story telling.  I usually get just the good food although at 
times there has been some or all of the other things.

Perhaps it is because I work with little kids or perhaps it is because I have 
been in the SCA too long, but I can see things getting out of hand  VERY 
quickly.  Once such merriment starts people's common sense tends to go out of 
their heads. (just my opinion based on my experiences)  I see something like 
this starting out OK   but quickly devolving into a free for all.

Also, I was raised that it is a sin to waste food and old habits die hard!

PLease post again.  I would love to hear about what you have cooked or what 
you would like to cook or be involved in.
