I've *seen* canned kraut juice in stores.  I've never
seen anyone buy it.

Ditto.  There was a time when canned whole chicken
was the only thing we could find in the pantry when
we were snowbound.  It was all right once cooked
into something.

I'll give it one ick, because I like most pates,
and I've eaten reindeer meat as stew and steak...
I like it better than either moose or caribou, so
it's mostly fear of the unknown.
