Yup, anyone who enters my kitchen is automatically thrown a tea-towel.
About the only person who has ever had a problem with it was a Princess a
few years ago.

Generally visitors stand outside the kitchen and ask what they want or they
grab the tea-towel and get to work on drying up.  Got lots of newbies over
their fear of the kitchen this way (and they do start on vegies and asking
questions and what not) and gets the rest of the kitchen crew out of the
washing up.
