SC - cooking on spits

Having done a bit of firepit cooking myself, the next thing I'm going to 
make is a screen, just like the one in one of the Scappi kitchen pictures.  
The heat and smoke are just that bit too much when constantly tending a fire 
- - plus my concerns about wanting my garb to stay whole and its original 
colour.
