SC - period egg sizes

I have raised chickens for  years...If the size of the eggs reduce as the 
chickens age, I do not notice this. I do notice a drop in prodution and shell 
quality. The shells become thinner and a bit more brittle, meaning use them 
faster.
  I haven't found referance yet to age/size in my main chicken books...I let 
you know what I find in print after I search my "chicken shelf".
