On a hot California Summer day, nothing soothes the humor quite like a French 
Summer.  A chilled brandy snifter (if there is ice on the outside, it's 
ready), filled with cracked ice, 1/4 filled with Chambord and topped up with 
Soda water.  Slip a bit of orange rind in it, or moisten the rim of the glass 
with it, and you are in heaven.
