Great Court is the Court held at the end of Pennsic (more or less) when the
Royalty of the Middle and the East Kingdoms acknowledge whoever won the War
in front of all interested Gentles, usually including the assembled royalty
and such from all Kingdoms and Principalities present at Pennsic. While it
is a joint Court, the initiative is taken by the Kingdom which is "hosting"
the War, this year being the East.

They also give awards and credit to the winners of various Tourneys and
competitions, and occasionally a Knighting or other elevation is done.

All in all, very stuffy and boring, unless you happen to like Court.
