These are white with two books for each, a Large hardbacked with white
binding, each book is a different color, each with a small (5X8) spiral
bound campaion book. I have the Cooking of Scandinavia, Provencial France
and Germany. Money is extreemly tight so I haven't bought any others latly.
Some friends of mine have got some of the others at several second hand book
stores in San Diego.

They were first published in 1968.

We have scads of them for sale at the end of September at our Planned Parenthood booksale every year. I got like five of them for $20 dollars. Although, I seem to remember they have the small ones priced seperately than the big ones. I have the one for Russia, Germany, Scandinavia, and Italy. I am going to get more this year. - road trip to Des Moines Iowa anyone? I have picked up a copy of Tannihill's Food in History for $2 there. They have like six eight foot tables of cookbooks in boxes, and boxes under the tables, every single year.

On the last day of the sale (it lasts an entire week and two weekends) everything is half-price. They get a huge old barn on the fairgrounds for this sale.
