I've been thinking about this apple cider thing, and I'd like to make a
suggestion. It should be fairly low stress and difficulty for you, but still
look like you really paid attention.

Why not get the bulk cider, pasteurize it yourself (fairly easy to do) and
can it in those little one pint wide mouth canning jar/mug combinations?
You'd need a canner, but I'm sure you could borrow one- if not, you could
just use a very large pot and boil water in it, and sterilize the mugs. This
would give a very classy country look, give you a handle to tie the spices
to, and give the guests a permanent gift to take home with them after the
cider was drunk. The canning mugs aren't very expensive, about $1 apiece,
and the lids etc aren't very much either.

Whadda ya think?
