Let's not forget that even the most common bacteria strain is subject to 
mutation.  Let's also not forget that, whether we have "built up a 
resistance" to it or not, one single Clostridium Botuliinum bacteria can KILL 
an adult male.  I don't think it's too crazy to disinfect bench tops and 
such.  I'd rather smell bleach for a few seconds than keel over dead because 
someone else thought I was immune to bacteria.
