Sounds like fun, but might not work. The bottom is too uneven. There's
bits of a sandbar, but there's also sudden dropoffs, Big Rocks, and the
occasional fallen long near the shore. And every year the river is
different- the winter runoff rearranges things. But it is spring-fed,
not glacial runoff (thank god!) and there are warm spots. Usually for
River Court they cram as many people onto the sandbar as possible. I
should make the dance suggestion to Vicountess Melissande- if anyone
could make it happen, it would be Mely... hmm...
