SC - Ras uncharitable? No Way!!!!!

I agree.  Because of a number of experiences in my life (including 3
bouts
myself), I am very involved in the American Cancer Society.  I have
participated
in the local Relay for Life, and recently suggested that the Barony also

participate as one of the teams.  While we could not pull it off this
year due
to limited amounts of notice, etc., I suspect we will do this next year.

However, it is not an event, nor is it discussed at an event.  It is
more in the
form of a demo, thereby not only helping out a very worthy charity, but
also
gaining good press for our group.  This kind of thing leaves it strictly

up to
the individual as to whether or not they want to participate, and does
not
impinge on the period nature of events.
